Song of the Day

I love techno, house, dubstep.. pretty much anything electronic! So my song of the day is

Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (Tiesto's version of course).

Enjoy!

Jobs and Working Out

Hey everyone!

Sorry I have not been updating this at all.. I have been sooo busy with work and finding jobs (which I have found a few I am applying to, yay!)

Just a quick update on my life. I have been soo soo happy lately. It feels so good to be home and with people who love me. I have been catching up with old friends and new friends. I love my Cans/Erwoods family (I work at Cans, Erwoods is right next door). Everyone is amazing and I couldn't ask for better people. I just got a second job working at Adele's. It is an Authentic Cajun restaurant, yumm! If you didn't know, I am Cajun, so this restaurant is right up my alley. Ruth and Marc are the owners and they are so sweet! :)

Anyways enough of work, let's talk about what I want to get into.

Working out.

Yes. Working out.

I have been slacking on the working out lately, main reason is my right knee has been giving me problems since senior year of high school. I have a calcified tendon growing off of another bone and when I run/walk, that tendon rubs against the skin on the inside and starts filling my knee up with fluid. Gross, I know. I will need surgery eventually, but I don't want to slack anymore on the working out and getting in shape (especially for the Police Academy).

So behold, the Tone It Up girls, Karena and Katrina.

These girls are beautiful inside and out and I can't wait to start their program. I have been watching their youtube videos for over a year now, and I have finally got the motivation to start doing some of their workouts. My ultimate goal would be to do a 5K or even a 10K (maybe after knee surgery).

They posted a program to help train for a 5K, and I think I will start on Monday. :)

Hopefully this chart will keep me motivated! And I get to rest and relax Fridays and Sundays! :) Perfect!

I also want to try the Shredmill workout!
